Prāṇa - lifeforce and yoga ~ a yoga workshop Sunday 26th April Brighton Buddhist Centre 2 - 4.30pm £28 Full / £23 Concession A lot of what we do in a yoga practice involves the cultivation and manipulation of prāṇa / lifeforce. We will explore prāṇa in depth - what is it?, can we feel it?, can we utilise it?, does awareness of prāṇa lead to integration? Khadine will skillfully lead you through yoga posture work with a focus on breath awareness and trust in the breath through direct experience and traditional teachings. She will include guided breath-based practices and mediation and you'll also get a guided yoga nidrā (reclined deep meditation-type practice). Suitable for all levels from beginners to very experienced as practices will be adapted accordingly. This workshop will include āsana, prāṇāyāmas, meditation and yoga nidrā.

After a delicious, nourishing lunch with locally sourced herbal teas, the afternoon is led by Sam, owner of The Wild Space, where you’ll be guided into a fiery, invigorating session. Between sessions, you’ll have time to wander, rest, and restore. End the day in the woodland spa, with access to the sauna, refreshing cold plunge, or simply relaxing by the fire. Created by women, for women, this retreat offers a much-needed pause from the demands of everyday life, with an invitation to soften, release accumulated stress, and return home feeling restored, inspired, and deeply alive.
