Weekend retreats at Florence House, Seaford...

Florence House is a beautiful venue in Seaford, East Sussex.  It is situated at the foot of Seaford Head clifftop so you can walk out to the top of the cliffs in 5 minutes or you can walk down to the beach in 5 minutes! Situated in the South Downs National Park it is in a stunning location which gives you a real sense of expansive space to breathe deeply!
This venue is truly wonderful.  I have been teaching retreats here since 2012 and teach both a summer and winter retreat.  I feel like I am coming home every time I return and many of my students have said the same.  Some of them love it so much that they have attended almost every retreat. I honestly can't stress just how special this place is. It is looked after with love and care so whilst you are there you also feel looked after and cared for. Isn't it just wonderful to have a weekend where you don't have to cook, clean or do any chores, you simply get to relax and enjoy yoga, meditation, good food, great company and nature.
​The timetable for the weekend allows you to fully immerse in the yoga but with free time to walk, swim or just enjoy relaxing either outside in the gardens or inside in the cosy and spacious communal sitting areas (with wood burners in the winter for extra coziness!). Of course, it is your retreat so if you feel the need to skip any of the yoga sessions that's entirely up to you. People often enjoy the weekend to re-connect with themselves and others, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere that is so conducive to building friendship or having a little solitary time for journaling, self-reflection or simply rest!
​Massages are available at an extra cost. Our therapists are amazing and they will cater to any health conditions that you may have - you'll literally be in very good hands! 
​The food is outstandingly good, delicious plant-based, naturally gluten-free dishes that are wholesome, tasty (most importantly!) and plentiful. As recent students exclaimed: "high restaurant quality" and "the best food I have ever had on a retreat".  Dairy and eggs and bread are served separately so there is the option to be 100% plant based and/or gluten-free or if you enjoy dairy, eggs or bread they will be available also. There is also an unlimited supply of teas and coffee and filter water as well as fruit and biscuits so you will not go hungry!

There are various accommodation options including shared twin rooms, triple rooms or single supplements.  The bedrooms and bedding are all very comfortable and spacious and there are a few rooms with en-suites available too. The room that have shared bathrooms are shared between 2-3 bedrooms max. 

Participants receive a selectively curated welcome gift of a goody-bag of wellness products and treats on arrival so you will feel totally spoilt as soon as you walk through the door!
